The Met Gala's 2017 Vogue × Instagram Studio

Met Gala, or, as Vogue puts it, the Most Exclusive Party of the Year, took place in Metropolitan Museum in May 2017 to mark the opening of the Costume Institute’s new exhibition, “Rei Kawakubo / Comme des Garçons: Art of the InBetween”. Some of the evening’s most prominent guests, from the Met Gala's co-host Katy Perry and Celine Dion to Kim Kardashian West and Jaden Smith, posed and flaunted inside the splendid video portrait studio against a digital backdrop inspired by Comme des Garçons designs. This immersive light installation was put together by Sila Sveta studio, and the creative director for the project was no other than Gordon von Steiner, the author of video pieces for numerous world-renowned brands.
