#ORANGUTANFREEDOM 🌿 Wild Once More 🌿 We are thrilled to announce the successful release of seven orangutans into the wild after years of rehabilitation at Nyaru Menteng. Their journey to freedom marks another step forward in our mission to restore and protect Indonesia’s precious orangutans. With support from the Natural Resources Conservation Agency (BKSDA) Central Kalimantan, our team guided them through winding forest paths to their natural habitat in Bukit Baka Bukit Raya National Park where the wild beckoned once more. As the cages opened, they paused for a final glance before stepping into the green. At last, they were home again. A heartfelt thank you to all our partners, supporters, and the Indonesian Ministry of Forestry for helping make this moment possible. Your dedication keeps the forest alive and hope growing strong.
