Gewehr 43: Could This Have Changed The War?

German engineering is renowned around the world, and the Gewehr 43 is no exception. Despite its rough exterior it proves to be a aesthetically pleasing and practical weapon. Compared to the Mauser K98k it was produced in just a fraction of the numbers. Which begs the question, if more Gewehr 43's were produced could this have helped to turn the tide of World War 2? The K43 dominates with a 10 round detachable Box magazine, Not a crazy feature but better than the K98. This is often referred to as Hitlers M1 Garand, a interesting and understandable comparison.
