Traveling Kansas (701) - Colby

Traveling Kansas Colby features a visit to Colby to learn about annual local events such as Picnic in the Park and Pickin’ on The Plains bluegrass festival with Bob McLemore. We will tour the Prairie Museum of Art & History with Director Ann Minor. The museum contains the main gallery which houses the Kuska Collection and features everything from glass to dolls to antique furniture. The outdoor display has several buildings including the Cooper Barn, the largest barn in Kansas. We will learn about some new construction projects with City Manager Tyson McGreer, including the Colby Event Center, Judicial Center and Villa West pond.
