It is a national hero of Bashkiria, one of the leaders of the Pugachev rebellion, a companion of the hero of Pugachev. Salavat Yulaev was a prominent leader of the uprising in Bashkiria during the period of the Peasant war 1773-1775 his Name spread around the Urals and will remain forever in people's memory. His father Yulay Aznalin, was the foreman of the Satan-Kudasai parish Siberian railway (district) of Bashkortostan.
