Why Jack Kirby Is the Greatest Comic Book Artist Ever
PSA dives into the legendary career of Jack Kirby, Marvel’s “Man Behind the Curtain” and creator of some of the most indelible pop culture characters of the last century. From Thor to Iron Man to Captain America, Kirby's fingerprints are all over the Silver and Bronze age of Marvel comic books and helped spawn the Marvel Cinematic Universe—and his creations are among the most popular books PSA sees in the grading room. Running through March, the Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles is hosting an exhibit on his work entitled "Jack Kirby: Heroes and Humanity," featuring an array of his most important work and most collected artifacts.
