What are some of the conditions needed for you to have power and authority to make decrees? You must be born again- John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.- being born again means confessing Jesus as Lord and inviting him into your heart to be your Lord and saviour. You must repent- the Greek definition is to change one's mind, i.e. to repent to change one's mind for better, heartily to amend with abhorrence of one's past sins to think differently or afterwards- Romans 2:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. (Repentance is a transformative process from your old worldly nature to your Godly nature. 2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.) Thereafter, you have to be like Daniel. Daniel 6:3 Then this Daniel was preferred above the presidents and princes, because an excellent spirit was in him; and the king thought to set him over the whole realm. 4 Then the presidents and princes sought to find occasion against Daniel concerning the kingdom; but they could find none occasion nor fault; forasmuch as he was faithful, neither was there any error or fault found in him. Have an excellent spirit Have no fault Be faithful in ALL your dealings Have no errors You have to walk blameless before the Lord so that the accuser of the brethren cannot stand before God, accusing you and blocking your decrees. If you see there is a blockage somewhere in the spirit regarding your decrees, go into deep repentance. Even if you think things are going well and you are blameless, ask the Holy Spirit continuously to reveal anything hidden in the dark corners of your heart. We can never be too sure.
