we have started our journey from Riyadh to al Baha which is approx 1000km by road. The whole vlog is divided into four parts. Day 01 blog is the road trip from Riyadh to al Baha. We explore some of the beautiful outdoor spots around Al Baha. From forest parks to ancient villages, we saw the amazing view and took some of the cinematic footage which you will see the vlog10 vlog11. You might think that Saudi Arabia is all deserts, but Al Baha proves that's anything but true. Abha is the capital city of Aseer Province near the Red Sea in southwest Saudi Arabia. It’s known for the craggy mountains of Aseer National Park, which is home to birds, dense juniper forests, and the towering Jabal Soodah peak. At the heart of downtown Abha is the restored mud-walled Shada Castle, now a handicrafts museum. A trip to Abha wouldn’t be complete without a ride on the town’s iconic cable cars, with panoramic views of the surrounding Sarawat Mountains. Each of these four routes offers a unique vantage point that takes you up to the clouds and deep into the cultural stops of the city. Keep in mind that the Rijal Almaa and Al Habala hanging village routes operate seasonally, during the summer. Call ahead or check with your hotel concierge before booking your reservation. In Al Baha we visited, Raghadan Forest Park, hiked in Al Khulb Park and explored the Al Atawilah/Algehad and Bani Mouhamad Villages. Al Bahah (Arabic: ٱلْبَاحَة, Al-Bāḥah) is a city in the Hejazi area of western Saudi Arabia. It is the capital of Al Bahah Region, and is one of the Kingdom's prime tourist attractions. It enjoys a pleasant climate and is surrounded by more than forty forests, including Raghdan, Al-Zaraeb and Baidan. Al Baha is the headquarters of the Governor, local councils and branches of governmental departments. Receiving the state's special attention, the city of Al Baha abounds in educational, tourist and health institutions. It is considered the capital of the Ghamdi and Zahrani tribes in Saudi Arabia, and most of its inhabitants are from the native tribes. The village of Thee Ain (Arabic: ذي عين), Dhi Ayn or Zee Ain village is in the Al-Mikhwat province of the Al-Baha Region, Saudi Arabia. The village is characterized by houses built from polished stones and dating back to the 8th century.[1] It is located to the southwest of the city of Al Makhwah about 20 km from the village. The village includes more than 40 houses and a mosque adjacent to the river. Nearby forts protected them from raids. Al-Namas (Arabic: النماص) is a governorate in 'Asir Province,[3] Saudi Arabia about 120 kilometres (75 mi) north of Abha. Al-Namas is a famous hill station located on Sarawat Mountains. Al-Namas is a window to Arab culture and traditions which date back to pre-Islamic period. it is the main home of four Arabian Azd tribes ; Shahr, Amr, Samr, and Hamr. Al- Namas is one of the main shopping areas located on the way to Taif and Abha. It has three malls and a range of shopping area. Recently, it came to light for its expansion and planning for a big city. Recently, the city has developed a beautiful walking track for local population and tourists. The track offers great natural view and lots of things to do. A visit to the Asir region would not be complete without journeying to the top of the Sarawat Mountains near the city of Al-Namas, 150 kilometers away from Abha. Once you’ve cut through the fog and clouds, you will reach Al-Meger Heritage Village, rising 2,400 meters above sea level.
