Scourge Suite | Transformers: Rise of the Beasts (Original Soundtrack) by Jongnic Bontemps

Scourge is the newest bad guy in the Transformers series, and with the menacing weaponry, insignia trophies adorned on his person, and the ever talented Peter Dinklage voicing him, he's bound to leave an impression of some kind. His theme, which is by extension Unicron's theme, is a simple three note motif usually played on menacing brass or low, sinister strings, or often times mixed into the track with grumbling, distorted electronics. But surrounding that very simple motif are a lot of instrumental flourishes that give the theme a bit more kick. Accompanying his theme is an ostinato that slowly plods along on synth keys, giving the theme a more alien, rhythmic backing that adds to the ever coming, momentous arrival of the planet devourer himself. But the main sound that's associated with Scourge is a shrill screeching/alarm sound that rings out in a loud, aggressive fashion.
