Variety Adventure Camp Week 3 - July 7-11, 2014

For Week 3 of Variety Adventure Camp, we took things to a whole new level of excitement! "Hollywood Week" made stars of our campers while bringing in a genuine celebrity or two! The week began with a special field trip to Schnucks for our older campers. Kids got to ride adaptive bicycles at the St. Peters Rec Plex, pose for high-gloss photos at Weissman Designs for Dance and meet Ozzie Smith at Catch-22 Miracle Field! We also had a thrilling trip to the movies, thanks to Wehrenberg Theatres! Since 1932, Variety the Children's Charity serves children with physical and intellectual disabilities in the St. Louis region, from infancy to age 21. Variety focuses on five core areas to help kids become independent and productive: gifting medical equipment for mobility and independence; developing unique education and recreational programs; funding therapy, and Sunshine Coach Vans.
