Custom Tool Fabrication! Needed a Metric Crowfoot Flare Wrench so I Made One

A little metal fabrication for you today--I needed a tool I didn't have and couldn't quickly grab at the store. So I turned to my metal fabrication capabilities and created what I needed. It worked out well! I cut down a cheap metric box wrench, made it a "flare wrench" by cutting a notch out of it. Then I weld it to a socket so I can drive it with a ratchet and extension to attempt to remove an EGT sensor on my exhaust manifold. I did not successfully remove the sensor with the tool but it was absolutely necessary for installation! I hope you find this helpful or at least interesting. We can truly do anything we set our minds to with the right resources at our disposal! Check out Eastwood welders (not a sponsor of this channel...yet) I have been incredibly happy with my MIG 250 machine.
