(Remember!) And when his Lord tested Abraham with certain words/events, and he had passed the test. He (Allah) said, "I will make you an Imam over mankind." He (Abraham) said, "And my descendants." He (Allah) said, "My word is not valid for the wrongdoers." (2:124) 125. (Remember!) And when We made the House a place of gathering for the people and a place of safety. And We commanded them, “Take the Station of Abraham as a place of prayer.” And We commanded Abraham and Ishmael, “Purify My House for those who circumambulate, and those who remain in retreat, and those who bow down and prostrate.” (2:125) 126. (Remember!) And when Abraham said, “My Lord, make this a safe haven and provide its people with fruits of all kinds.” (Allah) said, “And I will give those who disbelieve enjoyment for a short while, then I will make them bear the punishment of the Fire helpless.
