Guard arrested for impersonating cop

WALKER, Mich. (WOOD) - A uniformed security guard wearing a holstered .357 pulled over a Pizza Hut delivery driver and said he was going to issue a speeding ticket, only to have the pizza man call the real police and had the man arrested. Michael Schuelke was arrested Wednesday and charged with impersonating an officer. The incident began when Schuelke, who is a security guard at Richmond Hills Apartment Complex in Walker, pulled over the delivery driver at Dunlap and Willis. Schuelke's car had flashing amber lights. He was in his security uniform, including his utility belt and a holstered Smith & Wesson hand gun. Schuelke told the pizza deliverer, Andrew Jeurink, he was going to cite him for speeding. But Jeurink, who noticed his badge said "security," called the Walker Police.
