Webinar | Transforming Streets and Public Spaces with Tactical Urbanism

Road safety is a global concern, as more than 1.35 million people are killed on roads each year. As part of its road safety program, WRI has developed tactical urbanism interventions that seek to influence the public policy of cities to generate permanent solutions that improve the safety conditions for citizens. This webinar will present three cases, one in India and two in Brazil, in which tactical urbanism interventions have been a tool that has triggered a clear improvement in public space and in pedestrian safety.
