Pitkäpauhan kuutti 18.3.2012. Lost baby seal takes a liking to skier.

Hellyydenkipeä kuutti tekee tuttavuutta hiihtäjään Lohtajan Pitkäpauhassa 18.3.2012. A baby seal crying for mother at Lohtaja coastal area, Western Finland. He was heading to the mainland where he probably would have died, but I managed to turn him back towards the sea. He acted quite like a puppy! It was hard to leave him, but later when me and my wife went back to see him again, he had company from his brother or sister. Also their mother was near hiding in the open water and we could here her calling. We offered this baby some milk and sausage, but he refused :-) I'm quite sure they both survived to the summer.
