This is a city tour of Port Moresby, the capital of Papua New Guinea, a country known for its extremely high crime rate. I used a 6-hour layover to visit only the nature park. I saw birds of paradise and other rare endemic birds and animals, and the two hours flew by. It truly lives up to its reputation as one of PNG's top tourist attractions. *The bird I identified as a Sulphur-crested Cockatoo might actually be a Sulphur-crested Cockatoo. I've also included information about SIM cards and currency exchange at Port Moresby Jackson International Airport. This trip was ultimately aimed at seeing the Goroka Show in September 2025.
