Having several function blocks in Codesys greatly simplifies the software creation process, drastically reducing machine programming time and software errors. That's why I created a function block to control the Weg frequency inverter, CFW line. This block works for the CFW100, CFW300, CFW500, CFW700, and CFW11 inverter lines. In this video, I'll be testing it using the CANopen network, but it also works with other networks, such as Modbus RTU.
