A show that's quite representative of the band's strong 2011 run in Europe and one that left everyone baffled three days later when all of that seemed to have gone all of a sudden (well they found it again six days after this concert :D). Maybe they partied a bit too hard into Richie's birthday, who knows? It's a multi-cam mix done by my friend Dima, so thanks to him for this! I didn't check if all is in sync, but if something is off, I'm not to blame for once :D Something that can be alienating on those upfront filmed recordings is when they actually focus on the screens since these always had some slight delay (technically and of course to make it "in sync" for those watching further back). The audio was aired on Jovi radio and I recently discovered a way to balance them more out (I sometimes think they were Jon's IEM mixes given how they are adjusted) with some experimental widespread layering. Funnily enough, Richie's mic on the circle is never audible in these versions (corroborating my theory of this actually being more a monitor than a FOH-mix) but the drowned guitar got more audible and defined with this new technique!
