Then we delve into the alchemy of each drum and how to compose and construct a kick, a snare, and toms. The aim here is to get them as close to polished as possible, so that you don't need to do much in the way of EQ and compression. Shoutout to ‪@Producelikeapro‬ for putting me on game with phase. It changed my mixing forever. Secondly, we delve into what I consider to be sound techniques for layering your drums. I show you the tools and philosophy I espouse in doing so.
