"Watermelon" - Leo Kottke live, May 1971, & Don/Tad live, November 1972
Another song performed by Leo Kottke in Kelly Hall at Antioch College on May 3, 1971. A few songs earlier he had teased the audience about a fish mystery and promised to follow through before the concert was over. Later, as he was about to begin the last song of the evening with "Watermelon" (before the encore), the audience reminded him to finish the story. I've included both parts here. Leo's "Watermelon" is followed by the same song performed by my pal Tad Lathrop and me in the same hall on November 29, 1972. Our photo, however, is from 31 years later.
