This is the M Concept Neue Klasse - a concept car that is designed to illustrate what the first M-powered version of the BMW i3 could look like! (Fear not though, petrol-heads - there’s still a new petrol-powered M3 on the horizon!) First up, let’s check out the design - and there’s no denying BMW has tried to give this car as much presence as possible! Up front there’s a massive flat grille with the headlights inside, colourful DRLs (usually reserved for CS models), and massive louvres in the bonnet! Along the side, the door mirrors have been updated and M-coloured graphics added to the carbon fibre roof, while around the back there are TWO ducktail spoilers and a huge rear diffuser! On the inside, the main talking points are the racing bucket seats with 4-point racing harnesses! There’s also an updated steering wheel, M graphics and colours throughout the cabin, and a new drive selector. Otherwise, though, the interior is largely similar to the regular i3. Then we come to the performance. While BMW hasn’t confirmed any figures or stats, we’re expecting the car to come with four electric motors, and we believe these could combine to produce at least 800hp - making it the most powerful BMW road car of all-time! As for the price? Well, that’s yet to be confirmed, but we can’t see it being any cheaper than £100,000! But what are your thoughts on this all-electric M? Let us know in the comments!
