Polugaevskij sacrifica controTal

The game between Polugaevsky and Tal, played in the final of the 1969 Soviet Championship, is presented. The game is very interesting for its approach, which is still relevant today, to how White's Semi-Tarrash Defense is handled. In this game, Polugaevsky, after making a brilliant pawn sacrifice to play his own bishop and limit the opponent's action, sacrifices it, irreversibly weakening Black's castling.
