Aer City Pack Pro v2 - a great improvement on an already excellent 24l clamshell EDC pack
The Aer City Pack Pro v2 24L is an excellent update to the very well received City Pack Pro v1 previously reviewed on this channel. 00:00 - Introduction 03:25 - Overview & Disclaimer 04:10 - V2 versus V1 Comparison 07:01 - Front External Organizer Compartment 10:54 - Front Dump Pocket 12:07 - Laptop Compartment 14:02 - Water Bottle Pockets 17:21 - Top Quick Access Pocket 18:24 - Main Compartment - Access & Inner Lid Pockets 21:10 - Main Compartment - Main Volume 24:09 - Load Carriage System 31:01 - Materials & Design 33:34 - For/Not For 36:24 - Also Consider... Its main claim to fame includes a high-degree of urban-used organization mixed with good wide-open spaces, dual side handles and water bottle pockets as well as a clamshell opening all accompanied by a clean and tightened-up form factor and sleek style that enables it to work comfortably in normal urban EDC use all the way up to business casual environments. As is common with most of Aer's products, the materials and execution are among the best you'll find for widely-available consumer level bags. In terms of opportunities for improvement, within the context of the kind of bag and price point it aims for there honestly aren't too many that come to mind. A few minor nitpicks include that the bag is slightly heavier than the v1, and that the internal front lid pockets are perhaps a bit tighter than those found on other bags with similar designs, but these are generally trivial. Finally, while I personally am fond of the new design, some people may prefer the slightly boxier and taller shape of the v1, but fashion is always very much in the eye of the beholder.
