The entrance to the cafe is on the Griboyedov Canal. The cafe's interior is decorated in a vaulted space beneath the prayer hall, with stained-glass lamps and paintings of St. Petersburg views. The Kripta menu features Russian and Soviet dishes such as porridge, Olivier salad, borscht, beef stroganoff, Pozharsky, and pike cutlets. A variety of baked goods are also available, including rasstegai (open pies), poppy seed puff pastries, sausage rolls, raisin buns, and pies with various fillings. Prices in the cafe are reasonable: baked goods start at 50 rubles, and hot dishes cost up to 270 rubles. Breakfasts, including pumpkin porridge, omelettes, and syrniki, are served from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
