In this review, I test the JSAUX Switch 2 Dock Adapter Stand with the Switch 2, third-party grip cases, the JSAUX ModCase setup, USB-C passthrough, 4K audio/video output, charging, fit, usability, build quality, and overall value. For the most part, this is an extremely easy-to-use plug-and-play dock alternative that feels sturdy, looks clean on a desk, and works well for players who want to dock their Switch 2 without constantly removing a case. That said, there are a few important limitations to know before buying. The biggest one is the lack of Ethernet passthrough, which means this is not the right solution if you rely on a wired LAN connection for online gaming. It also does not work with the original Nintendo Switch or other handheld gaming devices, so this is very specifically a Switch 2 accessory. So is the JSAUX Switch 2 Dock Adapter Stand worth it? Is it a good official dock alternative? And does it make more sense on its own or as part of the JSAUX ModCase bundle? Let’s get into the full review.
