Psychedelics and MMH: An Emerging Novel Treatment - 2026 MMH FORUM

Melissa Lavasani, Founder and CEO of the Psychedelic Medicine Coalition, will ground the discussion in her lived experience and the unmet needs within maternal mental health care and access to psychedelic-based therapies. Caroline Fisher-O’Neill, Senior Director of Alliance Development & Strategic Advocacy for Otsuka, will share insight on Otsuka’s longstanding leadership in CNS. Candace Saldarini, Medical Director of Global Medical Strategy (CNS Early Assets) from Otsuka, will discuss how the company is leveraging its neuroscience and drug development expertise to create molecules designed as novel serotonergic agonists. Kimberly Jett, Executive Director of Clinical Operations at Reunion Neuroscience, who will share Phase II clinical trial results from the RECONNECT study of a novel, short-acting investigational psychedelic drug for the potential treatment of moderate to severe postpartum depression.
