Any auxiliary output (AUX SEND) with a 1/4" jack or XLR connector on a mixing console always outputs a MONOPHONIC MIX. Even if we connect a stereo source such as a CD to a stereo channel and send its signal to an auxiliary output, this auxiliary output will sum the two L+R signals and send a single monophonic mix to the musician's monitor or FX processor. Therefore, if we work with ONLY ONE AUXILIARY OUTPUT, we will lose the stereo image even if we send a stereo channel to it.
