J'EXPLORE UN ANCIEN SITE DE CHERCHEURS D'OR PERDU EN LAPONIE !!! (HAMMASTUNTURI)

Kultala Crown Station… A name almost forgotten today, hidden in the Ivalojoki Valley, in the heart of the Hammastunturi Wildlife Sanctuary in Finnish Lapland. At the end of the 19th century, the discovery of gold in this isolated region attracted hundreds of prospectors to these remote territories of Sápmi, the ancestral land of the Sámi people. For a few years, a mining camp was established in this valley before almost completely disappearing. To reach this forgotten site, I made a simple choice: map and compass. No GPS, no app, no cell phone signal. Just reading the terrain, the taiga, and uncertainty. Along the way, I also made some unexpected discoveries. An unforeseen relic and an encounter… that marked a journey. 📍 Hammastunturi Wilderness Area – Finnish Lapland 🏔 Kultala – former center of the Ivalojoki gold rush 🧭 Navigation: map and compass Video by Simon Higelin 🔔✅ Turn on notifications to be alerted to my next video releases!
