The Colony: Planting and Highlights

This project involves a mass planting of Cephalotus 'Hummer's Giant', which started in December 2023 using rooted leaf, pitcher, and tip cuttings. The plants are grown indoors in a non-air-conditioned room under LED grow lights, with a consistent 16-hour photoperiod year-round. Due to this constant light exposure, the plants do not flower. Humidity levels are maintained between 50% and 60%. Fertilization occurs weekly by filling the pitchers with a dilution of 1/4 teaspoon of Maxsea Fertilizer per gallon of water.
