Ikubunkan High School Kendo Club One of the strongest schools in Tokyo. Coached by Kendo Club Coach Hiroshi Kitaguchi (graduate of International Budo University). Young instructors Mr. Hirai, Mr. Furusawa, and Mr. Yoneda have all won national championships. They achieved the remarkable feat of finishing second at the 2023 Kaisei-ki Tournament. Individual champion at the All-Japan Junior High School Championships. Team champion at the Inter-High School Championships during his high school years. Yutaro Furusawa Graduated from Takachiho High School and Kokugakuin University. Placed second at the Gyokuryu-ki Tournament and won the Inter-High School Championships team title during his high school years. Kotaro Yoneda Graduated from Kyushu Gakuin High School and the University of Tsukuba. During high school, he was selected for the National Team Championships and won the Inter-High School Championships as a team. During college, he won the Intercollegiate Team Championships as a team.
