The world has marked Nelson Mandela International Day, celebrating the life and legacy of South Africa’s first democratically elected president and global symbol of justice, peace and reconciliation. Observed every July 18, the day encourages people to dedicate 67 minutes to community service, representing Mandela’s 67 years of commitment to fighting inequality and promoting human dignity.
