Name is Tchassa Anderson and I’m from Cameroon, a Country in West Africa. I’ve been a Metalhead from the moment I could recognize music. My influences are Bullet for my Valentine, Veil of Maya, Northlane, Architects, Sleep Token, Animals as Leaders, Plini, Gojira just to name a few. I’ve been playing bass since 2014 . I’ve started about 3 bands in my lifetime, been a part of 4 more, all pretty unsuccessful (It be like that) But that was never a reason for me to stop. 3 years ago I decided to take up music production so I could create the type of music I want to hear and probably have a solo career. This concept of Afro Djent is one I’ve been working on for the past 2 and half years. I produced tracks where I played the bass, programmed the drums with Addictive Drums, while I programmed the Guitars with lots of guitar Vsts, most notably Session Guitarist electric storm, it sounded okay but it never really sounded like what I wanted. To be able to get the sound I needed I ran my produced tracks through AI and after further tweaking and editing of the results, it finally turned into the unique sound I’ve been looking for. So, what you’re hearing is 90% production and 10% AI assisted. I decided to share it on YouTube and I absolutely had no idea the reception will be as overwhelmingly positive as it turned out to be. I’m truly amazed and grateful for that. I promised to release an album. And I know it will do this new sound more justice if it was recorded live then mixed and mastered professionally to give it a real and properly made sound. I have decided to re-record a full length 12 track Live Album as well as a Live performance recording video with a full band. PEACE!
