Feldulme umtopfen + neue Schale & Nebari Premiere!

Today I'm repotting my field elm (Ulmus minor) – one of my very first bonsai. The special thing about it is that I've let the nebari develop "underground" for years, and now it's finally emerging for the first time. Plus, after several years, the elm is finally getting a new pot. In the video, I'll show you step by step: Combing out the root ball and preparing it properly First check: What does the nebari really look like? Root pruning & structural work (what stays, what needs to go?) Final adjustments so the tree really fits in the new pot Planting it in the pot + close-up of the result If you're interested in more hands-on practice: Check out the "Working on Bonsai" playlist for everything I do working directly on the tree. ... #bonsai #elm #nebari CHAPTERS / TIMESTAMPS 00:00 – 00:59 Intro 00:59 – 05:45 Combing out the root ball 05:45 – 07:50 First look at the roots 07:50 – 18:23 Preparing the roots 18:23 – 27:43 Final adjustments to the roots for the new pot 27:43 – 37:59 Planting in the pot 37:59 – 41:07 Finished result & close-up 41:07 – 41:57 Outro
