In this video, I take a drive at dawn, with drizzle and overcast skies, passing through some of the most striking stretches of Rio de Janeiro's South Zone — at the calm pace of someone who enjoys watching the city wake up. The route begins at Flamengo Park, continues through Botafogo (passing by the Rio Sul Shopping Mall) and enters Copacabana, where we travel along Avenida Atlântica to Post 6. Then, we turn onto Rua Joaquim Nabuco and arrive in Ipanema via Avenida Vieira Souto. Next, we head to Leblon along Avenida Delfim Moreira, going to the end of the stretch and then up the beginning of Avenida Niemeyer, returning at the Leblon viewpoint.
