The journey through Central Sulawesi continues—this time, it’s an extreme adventure deep into the heart of the island. Our destination: the remote and mysterious Bada Valley. After realizing in the last episode that the new road was unsafe, we take a grueling 200+ km detour to reach the most remote part of Lore Lindu National Park. What follows is an extreme adventure packed with chaos and beauty. From torrential rain and landslides to blocked roads, runaway trucks, and even a crash—this is one of the most intense motorcycle journeys we’ve faced so far in Sulawesi. But the challenges are only part of the story. Once we reach Bada Valley, we explore stunning landscapes and uncover ancient culture—including the legendary megaliths like Patung Palindo, standing tall among the misty hills. These silent giants tell stories of an ancient world, hidden in the highlands of Sulawesi.
