run like a girl | international women's day

CW: implied previous assault / stalking / harassment. nothing is shown, but a lot of these women are running from something/someone. i really liked this 'run like a girl' trend and wanted to do a take on it. it's both empowering and troubling seeing the scenes of a young woman running for her life or freedom over and over again. i also wanted to shift for the end, showing women running just for the joy of it, and to show the later half of the commercial that seemed to inspire the trend, given how it was actually addressing the issue. run like a girl should not be an insult, it's a compliment.
