Kaleohano performed by "Makena" on 5-1-2021
This was on May 1 2021, the first time the Kani Kapila Grille reopened with live Hawaiian music since the Covid shutdown from the previous year. Makena (Horace Dudoit and Glen Smith of Ho'okena, along with Moon Kauakahi and Eric Lee from Makaha Sons) christened the place, appropriately on May Day. It was beautiful to once again hear live Hawaiian music in a public space.
