紀念開山祖師冥誕 基隆靈泉禪寺舉辦祭祖大典

Keelung Lingquan Temple Holds Ancestral Worship Ceremony to Commemorate the 145th Birthday of its Founding Abbot, Venerable Shanhui. The solemn offering ceremony commenced, with the ceremony presided over by Abbot Weisheng. Devotees from various regions and monks from other Keelung temples joined in chanting prayers. Several distinguished guests from Keelung City and its administrative offices were invited to attend, including Keelung Deputy Mayor Chiu Pei-lin, City Government Senior Secretary Luo Wen-zhang, Head of the Religious Rites Section of the Civil Affairs Department Feng Chi-an, Xinyi District Chief Chen Ying-yu, and Keelung City Council Speaker Tung Tzu-wei, all of whom affirmed the stabilizing influence that Lingquan Temple brings to society. Keelung City Deputy Mayor Chiu Pei-Lin Ling Chuan Temple Abbot Wei-Sheng Keelung City Council Speaker Tung Tzu-Wei Ling Chuan Temple used this solemn ancestral worship ceremony to carry on the spirit of its founding patriarch in establishing the temple, providing for monks, cultivating monastic talent, and spreading Buddhism. The participating dignitaries from the city government and council also prayed for favorable weather and national peace and prosperity.
