The NEW Pokemon Legends ZA Ranked Season is a BIG Problem...

The new season (Season 8) of Pokemon Legends ZA Ranked Battles is finally here, and I was definitely underestimating it when I initially heard about it... The new season forces you to only new mega pokemon that can be found in Lumiose City which leaves you a total of 45 pokemon to pick from. You can't use items, you can ONLY use Mega Stones for the respective pokemon. This leaves almost no room for creative teambuilding and I just wanted to speak about it today. What do you guys think? I think Garchomp Z, Magearna etc will dominate the format, which i suppose is a nice break from Primal Groudon, Kyogre and Mewtwo/Xerneas? But at the same time, you cant even teambuild around them now. Join the server for everything Pokemon related!
