Friends, this time I'm sharing some must-try dishes from León de los Aldama, where we sampled a bit of the cuisine of Guanajuato's capital. I started the route with the state's most iconic dish, Guacamayas (a type of tamale), and then continued on to Don Carfer's Cebadina. He's been selling this tasty traditional drink for many years, and it's perfect for cooling down the acidity of the Guacamaya. Across from Don Carfer's, we found Las Jaulas, where we tried pozole salamantino with enchiladas. These three places are located in the Jardín de San Juan de Dios, a well-known spot in the area. I continued the route with Alfredo from @ElTriponMX and visited Jicamas Gus, where they prepared the famous Mexican sushi for us. Afterward, we tried Doña Mica's prepared lettuces, a snack that's been much debated on social media but is incredibly delicious. This is the best of León!
