How to Tape Your Aerial Hoop / Lyra with Newbaum's Cloth Tape

Instructions and Tips from aerial instructor Brit Crumpton on how to wrap your aerial hoop using Newbaum's Cotton Cloth Tape. Newbaum's is a twill weave cotton with an adhesive back. It is slightly thicker, (but narrower) longer lasting and less tacky than conventional athletic tape. A standard 39" hoop requires 50 to 60ft of our tape. Newbaum's woven design is slightly thicker than athletic tape and does not need as extra layering at the bottom of the hoop, but it is of course up to the aerialist's individual preference.
