How to know if you should LEAVE your salon 😰Questions to ask yourself as a hairstylist

Have you been thinking about leaving your salon but not sure how? This video may be a bit controversial and I may have people hate me for speaking out about this, but it needs to be said. I wanted to create it because I know that it’s a resource that I wish I had when I needed to leave a salon that I worked at during the first part of my career. You may be a stylist who wants to leave the salon you are at because it’s either too structured or not structured enough, or you may be a stylist who is working in a toxic environment and are being bullied every day. Whatever the reason, here are some things to consider when thinking about leaving your salon: 👉Are you happy at your current salon? If not, what specifically is making you unhappy? 👉If you were to eliminate one thing from your salon, what would it be? Would it make it better? 👉What are the non-negotiables that you would like to have if you were to find a different salon? 👉Are you being bullied? Do you feel safe at your salon?
