Exploring Pretoria, South Africa 🇿🇦 – Historic Square & Abandoned Theatre

In this video I explore Church Square in Pretoria, the historic heart of South Africa’s administrative capital. Surrounded by monumental buildings such as the Palace of Justice, the Old Council Chamber (Raadsaal) and the statue of Paul Kruger, Church Square was once the political center of the South African Republic. During this walk through the Pretoria CBD, we also enter several historic and abandoned locations, including the Old Capitol Theatre, a historic early-20th-century entertainment venue. Today, parts of the area face significant safety challenges. Because of this, I was accompanied by Arno and Maree from AfriForum, who guided me through the square and helped facilitate access to several historic buildings featured in the video.
