Jackets Required TV Presents: Episode 68 Fox Umbrellas

Welcome to Jacket’s Required, hello, I’m Dominic Lacquaniti, designer & tailor This week I’m going to talk to you about an exquisite accessory, Fox Umbrellas. Fox umbrellas have been handmade in England since 1968. That’s a long history of keeping you dry, in style. This is an extremely functional item and may be something you don’t consider part of your wardrobe or even to be a style related item, but it most certainly is. Yes, everyone needs to stay dry so an umbrella is not a ‘new’ concept. In fact, the umbrella was initially created in ancient Egyptian times, to protect users from the sun rather than rain. That is a purpose and use that is resurging in popularity today as we all strive to live healthier and longer lives. Fox Umbrellas are available in a variety of colors, patterns and handle types. I personally love the beautifully polished hardwood handles because it’s just that little extra something special, added to what is typically considered an ordinary object, that makes you feel great every time you use it. It’s something you know the minute you reach for it and it IS something that others will notice and respond to. So stay shaded, or dry, in style this year with a Fox Umbrella. Come in and check out our available selection at the shop any time, but you’d better get here before rainy season kicks in!
