The court found 25-year-old Cho Ju-bin guilty of running online chat rooms on the encrypted messaging app Telegram, where at least 10,000 users paid up to US$1,200 to see sexual content featuring young girls. At least 74 victims, including 16 teenagers, were forced to upload explicit images onto the rooms. The court ruling was handed down on November 26, 2020.
