Raw Creative 2.5 DIY CNC Control Box – Windows, Linux & Arduino Options
In this video, I build a simple CNC control box for the Raw Creative 2.5 DIY CNC machine. This is a basic electronics setup using a 24V power supply, DM542-type stepper drivers and a standard 5-axis breakout board. The idea is to keep the control box simple, affordable and flexible, while still making it possible to run the machine with different control systems. With this setup, the machine can be used with Windows and Linux. If you want to use Arduino instead, most of the control box can stay the same and only the breakout board needs to be changed. This video is made as a text-based instruction guide, so you can pause and follow the wiring step by step. I also explain the main components, the motor connections, the stop button, the 24V wiring, and how the control box is prepared for the Raw Creative 2.5 machine.
