Crash (Mega Man Zero) -- Oscilloscope Deconstruction

Composer: Ippo Yamada Notes: This is the boss theme. A shortened version of it also plays in the intro cutscene. Compared to BN series boss themes, Crash is more somber. It communicates the bleakness and horror of Zero and the resistance's situation. Channel 1 plays one note during the intro, then goes silent. Interestingly, channel 7 plays just one, unusally long (1.6 seconds) sample repeatedly instead of having separate drum samples layered on top of each other. What do you think of this deconstruction?
