I went for this particular shelter as it provides excellent protection in winter months and is very easy to setup (even with thick gloves on). It is on the heavy side compared to more modern shelters, but having used it on a number of occasions now, have no problems including it my pack. My primary use for this shelter is for CTX activations, in the winter months, but will no doubt use it on other camping or overnight trips in the future.
