Preeminent Old Testament scholar John Walton of Wheaton College leads us through some of the most challenging and misunderstood material in the Scriptures. He makes a case for the primacy of order in the beginning of Genesis as well as seeing Adam and Eve as both archetypal and historical. We take a look at the identity of the serpent, how to understand the knowledge of good and evil, details about the temptation, humanity being naked and hiding, the nature of the curse, and the banishment.
