In the last episode, we arrived in Ossetia and stopped for the night in the mountainous Digoria. The location we chose was breathtaking: a fork in the trail to a glacier and waterfall, towering mountains on three sides, and a raging mountain river. Oh, and bears! Luckily, we didn't encounter them, but the possibility was a bit exciting. The Digor Gorge turned out to be filled with natural and historical attractions. And we couldn't leave without stopping by the ancient highland villages of Kamunta and Galiat. The road to them passes through the village of Fasnat. Everyone stops there at the ruins of an ancient mining and processing plant, which resemble the remains of a European palace or a Catholic church. You never expect to see such an unusual art object in an Ossetian village. In the village of Kamunta, we accidentally turned onto a viewing platform. Thanks to a local resident who pointed us out. From there, there's a magnificent view of the village of Galiat, the meadows, and the mountain peaks. On the way, we encountered begging donkeys and graceful horses, also accustomed to treats from tourists. Subscribers on our Telegram channel recommended a visit to the Biragzang Thermal Baths. So, from the Digor Gorge, we headed toward Alagir. We found the thermal baths there, soaked in the hot, healing water, and spent the night in the parking lot in front of the complex. The water in the pool is hot, about 40 degrees Celsius, and very restorative. It cures a host of ailments and restores the body's energy. We didn't even realize how much pleasure we felt from bathing in this jelly and felt a distinct surge of energy. People are brought there by bus from various cities.
